Ja ja, die ARGE. Die beliebteste Institution Deutschlands...

A few months ago I got a letter from the employment centre. They politely forced me to enter a course with the nice name "activation & orientation". The fist 4 weeks we learn to create a perfect letter of application and the last 4 weeks we have to make an internship/training/whatever it is called in English.

One week is already over and 3 will still follow. We learned things like how a perfect envelope should look like ("Briefmarke nicht von der Rolle und 2,5 cm von den Seitenrändern entfernt." Garantiert nicht, danke fürs Gespräch!). When everyone complained about it (because it is stupid) the teacher took it too personal and became a bit mad. At least the other people here are great. They are very funny and we laugh a lot (the only thing we really do here)

And because the days are long and mostly boring I decided to write a new journal today.

A few general things: Autumn arrived a few days ago. It is rainy, thundery and cold. No holidays for me this year. I will be left alone for a week in October. My letters of application are rubbish. I'm not motivated.
